On the Subject of Challenge Caches

:geek: Here's a fun one that's super hard. It's a county challenge. [https://coord.info/GC4FW54]

Interesting!

I don't need super hard but yes, I think I would like to try to get this one. I love road trips. However I think my first challenge is going to be this Lonely Challenge GC5a6e5.

Just clarifying something, please. You've said several times that you sign up for a challenge than go to work on it (or at least that is my understanding). Looking at the guidelines, is this what you are doing?
Cachers may sign a challenge cache's physical log at any time. However, the challenge cache may be logged as found online only after the log is signed and the challenge tasks have been met and documented.
Thanks for helping me understand!

Sometimes challenges, such as the Missouri county challenge in St. Louis, require a note of intent before beginning the quest. Only caches found after said note count. Please keep in mind this is not standard practice. According to the official rules, challenge cache logs can be signed at any time but only claimed as found when the challenge is fulfilled.
